Heavyweight contender Jameel McCline took offense to Audley Harrison's statement in a press release yesterday that claimed McCline was afraid to fight Harrison. "I usually try to let my fighting in the ring speak for itself, but everybody knows I have never turned down a fight," an upset McCline told Boxingtalk today. "I definitely would never turn down Audley Harris or Harrison, whatever. I don't even know what his name is. We were never offered $200,000 like he said. Audley, if you want to offer me $200,000 to fight you, please call [my promoter] Cedric Kushner and we can do this fight in December or early January. I will be happy to fight you and knock you out." McCline has vowed to stay busy this year, and after an August 26 win over Steve Pannell, he plans to fight again on October 21, 2005.
