Paul quickly established his superiority by knocking down Perry in both the first and second rounds. In total, Paul scored three knockdowns. The last one came in round six when Paul overwhelmed Perry with a combination. The bloodied Perry beat the count but stumbled badly as the referee assessed his condition, causing the fight to be called off. Paul (10-1) is scheduled to fight 58 year-old living legend Mike Tyson later this year. Paul confirmed this afterward, tweeting, "Next up is me vs. Mike Tyson and [Amanda] Serrano vs. [Katie] Taylor on Netflix, November 15th. It will be the biggest combat sport event of the 21st century."
