Diaz and Juarez ready to shine
After countless mediocre fights, usually with B and C level opponents being featured week after week, ESPN has finally decided to step up the level of boxing it will air. Boxingtalk.com has been informed from reliable sources directly involved with the situation that WBA lightweight champion Juan Diaz and Rocky Juarez will both appear on ESPN later this year. In early November Diaz will make the mandatory defense of his title against Julian Lorcy and in early December Rocky Juarez will likely face former world champion Guty Espadas. Juarez-Espadas hasn't been finalized yet, but he's definitely the frontrunner to get the fight. We will keep you updated as more information comes in, until then, Remember where you heard it first!
