Introducing super flyweight Andy Bell

Press Release: Andy Bell, 8-3, is preparing for his forthcoming fight for the inaugural English super flyweight title. The Doncaster boxer has been training hard in Tenerife to get ready for his fight against Robert Nelson, 6-0, at the The Dome at Doncaster Lakeside on Friday, September 7, 2007 in a show to be screened live on Sky Sports. The show features Junior Witter defending his WBC light welterweight yitle against Guyana’s Vivian Harris as top of the bill. Bell, 22, is confident of keeping his home town support happy on the night thanks to training abroad. “This is my toughest fight yet so that’s why I have come abroad for a couple of weeks,” said Andy, who returns to England on Tuesday. “I’m running up the mountain and on the beach here and because of the altitude it’s tougher to train out here. I feel the difference and I’m going to be in top shape.  I’ve beaten Mo Khaled and Delroy Spencer who he could only draw with, so that has given me some hope as well. I beat them both on points and felt I won every round. I’ve gone ten rounds before when I beat Khaled for the British Masters Title in June. I’ve fought four times in four months so I’m feeling fit and ready for this. If I win this title, I reckon I will be ready for a shot at the British Title after another fight.
