Filipino-American boxer Blazen Rocili (6-0, 5 KOs), a 21 year-old from Waipahu, Hawaii, now training in Las Vegas, has signed a managerial agreement with Andrew Bocanegra and his company, Boxing VIP. Rocili, is 6’3” tall and fights out of the southpaw stance. He claims to be the tallest Filipino in the sport and is hopes to make significant strides in his boxing career under this new partnership. His management touts him as a middleweight, although he has competed in Team Combat League bouts this year at 177 pounds.
Rocili is trained by coach Richard Barrientes at the Pound-4-Pound boxing gym in Las Vegas, known for hosting some of the best training camps in boxing."I'm thrilled to be teaming up with Andrew Bocanegra and Boxing VIP,” said Rocili, who’s family back in the Philippines is from the city of Ilocos Norte. “I believe this partnership will elevate my career to new heights and provide me with the opportunities I need to showcase my skills on the biggest stages. I have a great team behind me now and I’m looking forward to my future in boxing.”
