Desi Martinez Promotions is set for its inaugural show this Saturday night, March 30th, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas. "The best fighters in the world come from Mexico and the United States," said Martinez, referring to how he intends to provide a platform in a good meeting place like San Antonio to showcase North American boxers' skills. Seven bouts are set to take place, including the main event between Giovanni Cabrera (21-1) of Chicago and Ricardo Quiroz (13-3) of Oxnard, California in a ten-round lightweight battle. The opening bell is 5PM.  Former champion Jesse James Leija and media personality Carolina Teague are set to do commentary.  Tickets can be purchased here.
