The EBU acted swiftly to Kamel Guerfi´s sudden pullout of his defence of the EU bantam title against Belgian Carmelo Ballone scheduled for tonight in La Louviere. Guerfi, longterm injured, is now stripped of the title with Ballone taking on another Frenchman, Frederic Patrac (former EBU 118 lb ruler), for the vacant belt February 25 also in La Louviere with Tony Buscemi still promoting.
