His fight vs. Sam Goodman of Australia initially had a Christmas Eve date but Goodman suffered a cut in sparring. Inoue, who has been undisputed in his division since knocking out Marlon Tapales a year ago, will now fight Goodman in Tokyo on Friday January 24, 2025. The new date was not yet announced by the promoter, but Sky Sports sourced an Inoue social media post.
