Sultan Ibragimov TKO1 Javier Mora... Heavyweight contender Sultan Ibragimov needed just forty-six seconds to smoke the overmatched Javier Mora. Mora, who took the fight on short notice was out of shape, but give him credit for trying to win. Mora stormed out aggressively and landed a hard punch that knocked Ibragimov back momentarily. Ibragimov, a skilled Olympic silver medalist, however, then took control of the brief brawl. He dropped Mora early with a left hook and battered him into submission with a second knockdown shortly after beating the count. Ibragimov is now 20-0-1 and will now look to reschedule his WBO title challenge against Shannon Briggs that was putoff due to Briggs' pneumonia.
Roman Greenberg W10 Michael Simms... Roman Greenberg remained unbeaten winning a ten rounder over Michael Simms. All three judges scored the bout 99-91. Greenberg improves to 25-0 (17 KOs). There were no knockdowns, but Simms, a former cruiserweight contender with a strong amateur background, represents Greenberg's most credible win of his career.
Shamone Alvarez TKO1 Travis Hartman... New Jersey's Shamone Alvarez upped his perfect record to 17-0 (11 KOs) with a first-round stoppage over Travis Hartman. There were two knockdowns in the two-minute bout.
Edgar Santana W8 Dario Esalas... Junior welterweight contender Edgar Santana survived a scare by winning a razor thin split decision over an in-shape Dario Esalas. Santana cut Esalas to pieces, but then spent too much time up against the ropes as the Colombian came forward. The official scores were 77-75 twice for Santana and 77-75 for Esalas. Santana improves to 21-2 while Esalas, who holds a win over Terrance Cauthen, slips to 29-7.
Peter Quillin TKO2 Nathan Martin... Peter "Kid Chocolate" keeps on Quillin as he scored a second round stoppage over Nathan Martin. Quillin improves to 9-0 (8 KOs). Official time of stoppage was :39.
