IBF orders Leavander Johnson-Stefano Zoff

In the wake of Julio Diaz's decision to pull out of a scheduled title defense, the IBF has ordered Leavander Johnson to face Stefano Zoff of Italy for the newly-vacated IBF lightweight title.  Zoff is 42-9-2 and is the current European champion.  He briefly held the WBA lightweight title in 1999 and has won European titles three times in his sixteen year pro career.  Diaz vacated the title yesterday as the IBF was poised to strip him for breaching his agreement to face Johnson on February 11, 2005. Diaz pulled out of the bout when the opportunity arose to make more money against WBC champion Jose Luis Castillo. Remember where you heard it first! (2:00 PM ET)
