Hopkins to vacate?

Boxingtalk.com has been informed that the IBF has ordered the camps of undisputed middleweight king Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins and mandatory challenger Sam Soliman, who won his tune-up by KO earlier today, to commence negotiations immediately. Hopkins has held his IBF title since 1995, but based on the fact that Hopkins is only looking to make PPV fights, and Hopkins-Soliman certainly doesn't seem to fit that bill, it seems there's a strong chance that he'll vacate the IBF title that he's held for a decade.
