As of yesterday afternoon, sources from HBO began spreading the word that undisputed middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins has officially worked out his indemnification with HBO. Obviously this paves the way for Hopkins promoter Golden Boy Promotions and Jermain Taylor's promoter Lou DiBella to formally finalize the eagerly anticipated July 16 HBO PPV. The MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada is the favorite to land the fight, though the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California is still in the running as well. Remember where you heard it first!
