Boxing great BERNARD “The Executioner” HOPKINS will host an open workout for members of the media from his training camp in New Orleans where he is preparing for his June 10 Light Heavyweight debut with champion Antonio “Magic Man” Tarver.  Interview, Fight b-roll and photos will be available. Special note: Hopkins has invited a group of area school kids to watch him train with renowned New Orleans fitness guru Mackie Shilstone. Following the workout, the kids will join Hopkins and Shilstone for a heavyweight lunch and inspirational message.“I selected New Orleans as a training camp to be able to support the community and people who are recovering from their losses,” said Hopkins. “After what these kids have been through with Hurricane Katrina, I’m sure I can learn a few lessons about stamina and perseverance from them too.”
