This message is to all my fans, past, present, future and soon to be. There has been some mixed statements made in regards to my in the ring performance in my most recent bout against Mike Arnaoutis. As all may know, boxing is a great sport and an excellent for of entertainment, but more importantly to me it is a career and just like any other career, if you do not like what your doing or not happy with it, you will either quit or get fired. Boxing is my career and I take that very seriously. So when you see me doing something the media would label as “Showboating” or “Goofing off” in the ring, you must understand that I am just having fun with my job, not disrespecting the sport. People must understand that boxing is a mental sport, so antics like the ones I used this past Friday were done solely to disrupt the mental state of my opponent, not disrespect him or the sport. In closing, I would like to thank all of my fans and supporters…. Ooh and all of my haters as well. Look to see that world championship belt around my waist real soon.
