World junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton's bout against Carlos Maussa has been greenlighted after Hatton's estranged promoter, Frank Warren, threw in the towel on his bid to stop the bout in a British court.  Warren's lawsuit against Hatton will continue, but instead of asking a court to halt the bout he says he is entitled to promote, Warren will instead focus on collecting monetary damages after studying the papers that were filed in anticipation of a court hearing next week. That hearing wont happen thanks to Warren's withdrawal, and now Hatton will be able to face WBA belt holder Carlos Maussa on a Dennis Hobson promoted show on November 26, 2005 in Sheffield, UK.
