Moments ago, promoter Bob Arum informed Boxingtalk that the eagerly anticipated world and IBO junior welterweight championship fight between undefeated champion Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton and Jose Luis Castillo has already sold $2.7M in tickets. Hatton-Castillo will take place at the Thomas and Mack Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 23. HBO World Championship Boxing will televise.
