Moments ago Ricky Hatton's American based promoter Artie Pelullo informed Boxingtalk.com that boxing's undefeated Hitman will return to the ring in Atlanta, Georgia on December 9. Pelullo refused to provide us with the exact venue or opponent, but keep in mind Boxingtalk recently reported Hatton will be facing IBF junior welterweight champion Juan Urango. As this goes to print Team Jermain Taylor believes he has December 9 for a comeback bout in Little Rock, Arkansas against either Sergio Mora or Giovanni Lorenzo. Perhaps HBO is planning a split site doubleheader, though that could be unlikely since Winky Wright tells Boxingtalk that he will be fighting on PPV the week before.
