Hasim “the Rock” Rahman, 44-6 with 34 KO’s,  scored a first round knockout over Cerrone Fox, 8-7 with 8 KO’s.  Rahman established the jab right away while Fox came out swinging.  Rahman controlled everything with the jab and set up a big right hand that hurt Fox in the middle of the 1st round.  Rahman continued landing the right hand at will and sent Fox crashing into the canvas at 2:35 second into the first round.  The referee immediately waved off the fight.  Although Cerrone Fox does not have an impressive record, he has been in the ring with David Tua, Alexander Povetkin and John Poore.  Rahman has won 3 fights in a row, two by way of KO.  Weighing in at 240lbs on Wednesday, Rahman is finally in fighting shape.  The two time heavyweight champion has another fight scheduled for November 15th against the ever dangerous TBA.  “The best of Rock is yet to come,” explained trainer Marshall Kauffman.
