Harry Simon gets two years for killing three people

Former WBO middleweight champion Harry Simon, who was never beaten in a boxing ring, was sentenced to just two years in jail by a judge in his native Namibia for the deaths of three people in an automobile accident.  Simon was found guilty of culpable homicide for his role in a November 2002 incident in which which three Belgian tourists, two adults and a baby, were killed. The judge ruled that Simon had not used common sense and wilfully departed from clear instructions of the law in disregard of his own life and those of others. Simon was reportedly driving at close to 100 mph and crossed a double yellow line at the time of the collision. In the ring, he was 23-0 including a majority decision win over Winky Wright in 1998. source: The Namibian
