Harrison to face Guinn without Torrence!

Press Release: Heavyweights Audley Harrison and Dominick Guinn face a “Make It or Break It” fight this Friday, April 14 in a scheduled  ten-round main event at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California . Both are determined to reclaim their prominence on the ESPN2 telecast of “Friday Night Fights.” The fate of these two boxers lies  somewhat in the hands of their trainers or in Harrison’s case, who isn’t his trainer.  Harrison had been guided by longtime Eddie Futch assistant, Thell Torrence, who recently was in the corner of Hasim Rahman for his draw with James Toney.  For this bout, Torrence will not be in Harrison’s corner.  For Guinn, Joe Goossen, who has guided many world champions and most recently, lightweight Diego Corrales in a world title victory over Jose Luis Castillo in the 2005 Fight of the Year, will be working in Guinn’s corner.  Dan Goossen of Goossen Tutor Promotions  will promote.
