Harris ties the knot, can't wait to tie green belt around his waist!

GL: Congrats on your victory over Juan Lazcano, can you give us some thoughts on your performance? "Thank you. I think it was a good performance. I think I showed the world I can fight inside and outside. They knew I could box, but I think I showed that I can fight on the inside. I think it was an exciting fight, I'm pleased with my performance and I'm ready to move on to the next one. I treat every fight differnet. For this fight I did a little bit of everything because I know Lazcano is a the kind of guy who likes to fight."

GL: Were you surprised it was such a tough fight?

Vivian Harris: "I expected him to be tough and I knew he was going to do everything he could. The body shots broke him down and I think me sitting in there to get them body shots in made it a little harder for me than if I just stayed outside, but I wanted to put on a great show for the fans and break him down at the same time. At the end of the day, I'm happy with the performance and I feel I won the rounds I needed to win."

GL: Where do you go from here and who do you want to fight next?

VH: "Right now this fight was for the mandatory and we're focusing on Junior Witter right now. I leave that up to Gary Shaw. He's a great promoter and I'm happy to have him as a promoter. I know he's going to come back to the table with what's best for me. Right now I want to get that green belt."

GL: When can we expect you back in the ring?

VH: "The way I feel right now, anytime is fine with me. Like I said I leave that to Gary and them, he's doing a great job. He knows when the timing is right and everything has been good."

GL: I understand you finally tied the knot, tell us about it?

VH:" I finally married my fiance of seven and a half years, we finally tied the knot at a small service. I wanted to get it over with because this is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. That's what life is, when the family is strong everything else is strong."
