Travis Hanshaw (14-1-1), last seen as a smallish cruiserweight, is set to move down to super middleweight on Saturday, June 29th. Having fought professionally in every weight division from welterweight to cuiserweight, Hanshaw now takes on Aaron Quattrocchi (11-2-1), at his usual stomping grounds, the Boyd County Community Center in Catlettsburg, Kentucky. “Rattlesnake” Hanshaw (age 27), nicknamed so because he was bitten by a rattlesnake as a child, is coming off a victory over 10-1-1 Roy King nearly a year ago. From Ashland, only a few miles from Catlettsburg, he is expected to be cheered on by his usual throng of fans, and he will need all the support he can get against a determined Quattrocchi, who is full of confidence after winning the West Virginia state title against then-undefeated Joey Holt in his most recent outing.
