Moments ago Gary Shaw informed Boxingtalk.com that as far as he's concerned Anthony Hanshaw is not fighting Roy Jones Jr on July 14. According to Shaw, Hanshaw is being erroneously advised that there is more than the $150,000 available to Team Hanshaw. As a result of this poor advice, Hanshaw is refusing to sign the bout agreement Shaw presented to him. Boxingtalk immediately contacted Roy Jones Jr, who confirmed that "the $150,000 is all that's on the table for Hanshaw. That's the same money Showtime was going to pay, that's the same money we agreed to pay him." Jones later added, "whether it's Hanshaw or someone else, I'm fighting on July 14." (12:55 PM EST)
