HBO Sports is presenting a thirty- minute special analyzing the upcoming HBO pay-per-view rematch between Shane Mosley and Fernando Vargas. The highly anticipated rematch is set for Saturday, July 15 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. In their first encounter last February, Mosley, 34, scored a 10-round TKO win over the 28-year-old Vargas in a compelling battle in which the bout was called to an end due to the swelling of Vargas’ left eye. Both fighters will undoubtedly bring as much determination and fire into the rematch as they did in their first encounter. The special "COUNTDOWN TO MOSLEY-VARGAS II, " which will feature fighter profiles, expert analysis and forecasts for the showdown between the two superstars, will premiere Saturday night, July 8 at 10:00 p.m. The main service will also present the countdown special on Monday, July 10 at 11:50 p.m. and Tuesday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.  All times are ET/PT. The countdown special will also be available to HBO ON DEMAND subscribers 24 hours a day Monday, July 10 thru Monday, July 17.
