Undefeated WBO junior welterweight champion Miguel Cotto has secured the September 24 HBO date that was originally on hold for Vitali Klitschko. Moments ago, Bob Arum confirmed what reliable sources informed us early this morning. Miguel Cotto will be taking on Gianluca Branco, likely at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Top Rank will have nothing to do with the televised co-feature. Fights under strong consideration to get the slot are Wladimir Klitschko-Calvin Brock, and Samuel Peter-Sinal Sam.
