The official scores were 117-111 (twice) and 118-110. Compubox credited Guzman with landing 302 punches to 165 for Soto. In a scorecard that seemed out of touch with the general consensus, the Associated Press scored it a draw. Guzman hopes he kept himself on the short list for a lucrative fight with Manny Pacquiao next year, but according to writer Dan Rafael, Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum took a dim view of the chances of Pacquiao-Guzman happening next. source: associated press / espn
