Guzman calls out Harrison, Pacquiao and others!

Former WBO super bantamweight champion Joan Guzman recently informed Boxingtalk of his plans for the future. "I am hoping that together with my promoter, Sycuan Ringside Promotions, my manager Jose Nunez can get me the major fights that I have been waiting for" stated Guzman. "I am willing and ready to fight the best that is out there at 126lbs and 130lbs. We want to take on fighters such as WBO champ Scott Harrison, Manny Pacquiao amd Marco Antonio Barrera. I respect what these gentleman have accompkished and done for the sport, but I am now here to make a statement and make my mark on the new generation of boxing." Guzman closed off by saying, "Scott Harrison has an upcoming November date and I am willing to take him on. Because his promoter Frank Warren is known for protecting his fighters I don't believe he will put him up against me. I want Harrison and his promoter to knowthat I will be ready for November if necessary and am prepared to give boxing fans the kind of fight that they have been waiting for."
