Gutierrez speaks on stoppage over Reid and more

GL: Congrats on your victory over Teddy Reid can you give us some thoughts on your performance? "It was a really good night for me, I was really on. First I want to thank God for. I basically took away his big right hand took him apart and sent him into retirement."

GL: When can we expect you back in the ring and who do you want to fight next?

Richard Gutierrez: "That's up to the promoters and the management, but I'm going to starch whoever they put in front of me. I would like to fight any of the top guys."

GL: Are you hoping to fight for a title in the near future or at least return to HBO?

RG: "I feel that I'm ready to fight for a title in my next fight. I showed that I'm one of the best at 147 when I'm good shape. I would love to fight on Showtime or HBO in my next fight against anybody they think is real. I think the guy I'm supposed to be fighting is Kermit Cintron. We were supposed to fight on HBO the first time and he comes to fight and anybody who fights like he does is not going to make it the distance with me. I love that fight, I don't think he'd last much longer than Teddy Reid did either."

GL: Give me a ring when you get your next move solidified, in the meantime can you give me some closing thoughts for the fans?

RG: "First I want to thank God for helping get to where I am today. I plan on winning my title this year and I thank every fan that supports me. I always come to fight and I always will so I'm fighting my heart out for the public. I want to thank B-Talk for giving me the interview."
