PRESS RELEASE: On August 25, 2007 at Robert E Lee High School in Springfield, Virginia, cruiserweight Bobby Gunn 17-3 {14 KO’s} will challenge veteran southpaw Benito Fernandez 19-14 {6 KO’s}. The scheduled ten-round contest will be the main event on a Sugar Han Productions card which features seven bouts in total. Fernandez started his career as a junior middleweight and has been in with tough competition including former champions Antonio Tarver, Buster Drayton, and Donny Lalonde. 
 
“To be honest, I respect Fernandez and he has fought tough competition but I was hoping to fight for the belt” said the heavy handed Gunn. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t work a deal out with a top level opponent. Most fighters are prima donnas and belive they should be fighting for top money but the reality is the money is not always there”.
