Guinn in homecoming bout

Press Release: It has been nearly three years since heavyweight Dominick Guinn 26-4-1 (18 KOs) last fought in his home state of Arkansas, and December 9th at the Alltel Arena in Little Rock on the under card of the Jermain Taylor- Kassim Ouma championship match-up, the thirty-one year old former contender returns to recapture the fire he once possessed when he faces Zack Page 12-8-1. “Sometimes you have to start over, go back where you came from, the Alltel Arena is where the decline began for me when I lost to Barrett, but I have turned over a new leaf and I am ready to go home and avenge the loss in front of all my fans, I feel good about this and I am happy to go home.” Guinn fell to his first defeat in a depressing split decision lose to Monte Barrett in March of 2004 in Little Rock, but now the Arkansas native is ready to get back to his winning ways and he believes his homecoming will produce just that, “I would love to get in the ring with the likes of Shannon Briggs or Wladimir Klitschko, but I realize I have to start over and take it one step at a time, so my first step is to knock Zack Page out, and that is exactly what I am going to do.”
