Two bantamweight bangers--Jesus Rios of Guasave, Mexico, and Francisco Paredes of Mexico City--meet for the second time when they clash in the ten-round main event on the Guilty Fight Night on Friday, August 12, 2005 at El Foro in Tijuana. The two have halted more than 90 percent of their opponents. The 21-year-old Rios has 17 knockouts while achieving a mark of 19-2 while the 30-year-old Paredes has 12 knockouts en route to a record of 13-10. It will be a rematch of their fight on a Guilty Boxing card December 3, 2004, in Tijuana. Paredes upset Rios in that bout, scoring a ninth-round knockout. But Paredes had to survive a second-round knockdown before landing the left hook which ended their first encounter. The Guilty Boxing card starts at 7 p.m. (Pacific) with gates to El Foro opening at 6.
