Grigsby a world champ once again

Will Grigsby of Minnesota made an improbable return to world champion status, defeating Victor Burgos by unanimous decision to capture the IBF 108-pound championship.  The official scores were 116-112, 117-111 and 118-110. Grigsby held the same title from 1998-1999 before losing to the great Ricardo Lopez. He won the WBO version of the title in 2000 but was stripped when he failed a drug test. Legal troubles, including jail time, limited him to just one fight in three years, but he came back with two wins against mediocre competition before upsetting Burgos in Las Vegas on Saturday.
