Former world light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson, who fought five world title fights in Quebec City during his reign, is well enough to attend the November 23rd show at Quebec City's Videotron Center. Stevenson suffered a severe brain injury and nearly died in his last fight, a career-ending loss against Oleksandr Gvozdyk in the same venue on December 1st. Stevenson has made a near-miraculous recovery and has now confirmed his intemtion to show up in support of Marie-Eve Dicaire, the IBF 154-pound women's champion in her title defense that night. "Superman" will return for the first time to the Amphitheater, where he had his last fight which was the same evening that Dicaire began her reign as world champion. He will be in the VIP section and available for interviews, photos and autographs. He will be accompanied by his wife, Simone God.
