GL: What's new since our last conversation? "I'm still going through some minor issues with my knee, but I'm going to be coming back to the ring at the end of November or early December."
GL: Are there any more details than that?
Grady Brewer: "They have a date on November 27 and another one on December 6. It's supposed to be one of those dates, but there's no guarantees as it comes to the opponent and things like that."
GL: I imagine you're training for the fight if those are the dates you're looking at.
GB: "I'm ready to go. It all depends on how it all comes together. I don't feel that they've been treating me too fairly since I've won. I don't feel they've treated me to well since I've won."
GL: Are you feeling like an unwanted stepchild?
GB: "Yeah. Pretty much."
GL: Are you hoping that a good showing refreshing their memories and leads to them pushing you heavier?
GB: "Exactly. Just get me a nice opportunity to shake the ring rust off and then I'm ready for anybody."
GL: You said you were still having a couple of issues with your knee. Are you confident that these issues won't lead to you fighting tentatively?
GB: "I wouldn't say that. I would say that it could limit my movement a bit."
GL: What weight will this comeback fight be at?
GB: "Probably 154. 149 is the lowest. But I plan on staying at junior middle."
GL: When will there be a more solid update as it relates to which date it's going to be?
GB: "It shouldn't be long, but as soon as I know something I'll give you a call."
GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?
GB: "I want to thank you for calling me and keeping me on Boxingtalk. I got so much left to prove and I'm expecting big things for me to happen next year. Don't give up on me still. I've had a couple of injuries, but I've been ready to get back out there as soon as they want me out there.
