There are three large parking lots located within a 1/2 block of the Aragon Ballroom. Additionally, the Howard Street Blue Line stops just across the street. Doors will open at 7pm with the first bell at 8pm.

Speaking about the huge card, promoter Dominic Pesoli of 8 Count Productions said, "Al and David clearly represent the two most successful local fighters to come along in a long time and both have very bright futures. With them on this huge card along with Luciano and the newcomers its a terrific show. Fans will be able to see two main events at our standard ticket prices." Continued Pesoli, "Our growing loyal following has come to expect a high quality evening of boxing at our events and this card is representative of our continued commitment to them."

Headlining the action packed card is the return of exciting junior welterweight contender, Al "SPEEDY" Gonzales, 15-1-1 (7KO's) of Chicago, IL in a scheduled ten round bout against tough Columbian veteran Roberto "El Zurdo de Oro" Ortega, 17-11-2.

Gonzales looks to stay on the winning track after taking a decision win over Derrick Moon in September of this year, a fight televised internationally from Chicago on Telefutura's SOLO BOXEO Friday Night Boxing series. After spending five weeks in camp with former world champion Sugar Shane Mosley in Los Angeles, SPEEDY has now moved his training to the Top Rank Boxing Gym in Las Vegas, NV where he is hopeful to get some sparring work in with former world champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Ortega, now fighting our of Miami, FL has been in with the toughest junior welterweight contenders and holds wins over Henry Bruseles and Lemuel Nelson. The rugged Columbian will test the younger Mexican Gonzales' skills and should provide an accurate bench mark as SPEEDY looks to bigger fights in 2005.

Currently ranked # 2 in the world by the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Chicagoland fan favorite junior welterweight David Diaz, 25-0 (13KO's) takes on Columbian Jaime Rangel, 29-6-1 (25KO's) in a scheduled ten rounder.

Diaz returns to the Chicago ring after a seven month absence that has seen him spend a month in camp with world champion Kostya Tszyu in Australia. Diaz seeks to continue his winning ways and keep his high ranking as he looks to a world title shot in 2005.

Rangel recently dropped a majority decision to contender Edner Cherry in Tampa,  Florida in October of this year, a fight that many ringside observers had him clearly winning.

Also appearing on the huge undercard in a scheduled eight rounder is welterweight KO artist Luciano "EL GALLO BRAVO" Perez, 10-1 (9KO's).

A special four round junior featherweight attraction features newcomers Ivan Rodriguez, 2-0 (1KO) and Omar Reyes, 0-1. Rodriguez has quickly made a name for himself with two terrific wins this past year on 8 Count Productions' cards while Reyes recently fought a very close four rounder last month with Frankie Tafoya that had the huge crowd at the Hawthorne Race Course on their feet for the duration.

Other fighters on the action packed card include lightweight Tommy Bach, 2-0, (1KO) cruiserweight Mike Nevitt, 7-0 (3KO's) and the pro debut of former amateur standout junior middleweight Jorge Gonzales.
