Golden Boy Presents Mexico vs. Thailand!

On October 28 and October 29 Golden Boy Promotions will present an intriguing two day event that should have all Mexican and Thai fight fans salivating. It's Mexico versus Thailand, nation versus nation, in the inaugural installment of what Golden Boy Promotions expects to become boxing's version of the Ryder Cup. on those two nights, seven fights will be televised featuring some of Mexico's brightest talent against some of the toughest Thai fighters in the world. On Friday October 28, Daniel Ponce De Leon will face Sod Looknangyantoy for the vacant WBO 122 pound title in the main event of a special Solo Boxeo triple header. Younger prospects, are expected to round off the free Friday evening telecast. Then on Saturday October 29, Golden Boy Promotions, along with HBO PPV, with televise four more bouts and at least three of them are expected to be world title fights. WBO bantamweight champion Ratananchai Sor Vorapin will face Jhonny Gonzalez, WBO 115 pound champion Fernando Montiel will look to defend his title against Pramunansak Phosawan and WBO 108 pound champion Hugo Cararez will face #1 contender Kaichon Sor Vorapin.
