Golden Boy Promotions has filed an action for declaratory relief against Don King Productions in a California Federal court, just hours after learning DKP had filed a tortious interference suit against GBP yesterday afternoon in New York.  Bert Fields filed the relief for Golden Boy Promotions. Ricard Schaefer was unavailable for immediate comment, but there will be much more to follow as this interesting legal showdown between DKP and GBP continues to move forward.
