Lacierva’s Out, Ponce De Leon-Vs. Figueroa On!

Richard Schaeffer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions confirmed to Boxingtalk.com that Oscar’s plan is to fight Felix Sturm, on June 5 with Bernard Hopkins in co-feature. As Boxingtalk’s blueprint first informed you on February 11, this move would set up the biggest fight of Oscar’s career, a potential showdown with undisputed middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins this September or November. Schaeffer informed us that the Sturm fight is already VERY CLOSE to being signed, and has informed Boxingtalk.com that Jorge Lacierva will no longer be on Golden Boy Promotions Feb. 26 card.
