The WBA posted an announcement that SES Sport Events has cancelled a fight card to be held on March 28th in Germany. The main event had a WBA interim light heavyweight contest between interim champion Dominic Boesel and challenger Zac Dunn. The WBA was notified by the promoter through official channels and is another measure the boxing world has taken to protect the safety of the athletes and the general population from the chaos of the Coronavirus. Boesel was to make the first defense of the crown he won on November 16th last year. Now, the SES Sports Events will wait for the right moment to reschedule the fight and will provide the details as soon as possible.
