Gatti chose February for the elective surgery so that he would be ready in plenty of time for a June/July return to the ring on HBO.Gatti’s manager Pat Lynch reports that Gatti’s ligament was re-attached by Dr. Charles Malone at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City . Lynch also said that Malone cleared Gatti to fight in June or July.
