WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia (pictured) seems poised to move on from a potential generation-spanning fight vs. Floyd Mayweather, even though Garcia was the one who was touting the match-uppublicly. Garcia tweeted, "Attention! Red Alert! Floyd Mayweather: you called me and wanted this fight and I agree this is a big fight. But I am fighting on February 6th regardless, so unless you actually make this happen then this fight is gone. You can go fight whoever but this is for a championship t]. I will take your 0 [undefeated record] with pleasure. Final warning... no more games let’s make it happen."

A little more than a week ago, Garcia claimed there was an agreement to fight the multi-division but 49 year-old champion, tweeting: "Trust me at first I thought this was bull***. But it’s real Floyd and I agree to a fight. 147 for the WBC welterweight championship of the world. 50-0 vs. the current champ."
