A Sky Sports interview with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury indicates that Fury does not seem interested in unifying the world heavyweight championship in a super fight vs. Oleksandr Usyk. Fury is preparing for October 26th when he is scheduled to face former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, who has never boxed professionally. Fury-Ngannou is a ten-round, presumably non-title bout. Here is an excerpt from Fury's interview: “When I come back into boxing I said I wanted to make as much money as possible, that's what I said to my lawyer. I didn't come back this time for belts or titles or anything, I came back to secure my family and their family and their kids and their grandkids and I've done that… There's going to be contenders out there who are fighting for love, desire, all that and I have no interest in fighting those guys because I'm bigger than all of them, I'm the superstar and they're nobodies. I'm happy and they're not. I have everything that they want and there's nothing they can do about it apart from getting in line.”
