Yorgey vs. Clay in Main Event

PRESS RELEASE: Undefeated heavyweight Furuq “The Dream” Saleem of Newark, New Jersey will face Sedrick Fields, 22-34-2, on a card promoted by Vernoca L. Michael and on Friday October 12, 2007 at The Legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia. Saleem, 36-0 with 32 KOs, will be making his second Blue Horizon appearance in four months. On June 1, 2007, he knocked out Wallace McDaniel in sixty-one seconds to keep his undefeated mark. Fields had his greatest moment on April 27, 2000 when he scored a big upset over Shannon Briggs.

Fields, 22-34-2 with sixteen knockouts, from Augusta, Georgia has been in with all the top names in the Heavyweight division such as WBC titlist Oleg Maskaev, WBA titlist Ruslan Chagaev, Jameel McCline, Oliver McCall, Sergei Liakhovich, Luan Krasniqi and Ray Austin and former undisputed champ Michael Moorer.

Fields had his greatest moment on April 27, 2000 when he scored a big upset over former Linear and WBO champion Shannon Briggs  

In the main event, undefeated junior middleweight Harry Joe Yorgey will look to avenge the only draw on his ledger when he takes on Martinus Clay in a rematch of a bout that took place in 2006.

Also on the card will be Olivia “The Great” Fonseca along with undefeated fighters such as “Hammering” Hank Lundy, Tommy Rainone, Jules Blackwell, Bryheim Douglas as well as star of The Contender Season-2 Aaron Torres.
