Prize Fight Boxing in association with Northeast Promotions is proud to announce that it is bringing ESPN2 Friday Night Fights to the FedEx Forum in downtown Memphis, TN on Friday, February 17, 2006. Featured on the card will be the undefeated Peterson brothers, Lamont & Anthony, of Memphis, TN. Lamont 15-0 (7 KO's) will battle in the 10 round main event against Courtney Burton 22-5 (11 KO's) for the vacant WBC USA Jr. Welterweight Title. Lamont, currently ranked 37 by the WBC at 140 lbs, or Burton will move up dramatically in the world rankings depending on who wins the bout. The bout will also be the main event on ESPN2's broadcast live that night from the Forum. In a feature attraction to the main event Delvin Rodriguez 17-1-1 (9 KO's) from Danbury, CT will battle Gilberto Reyes 18-2-1 from Miami, Fl in a 10 round welterweight event. Anthony Peterson 15-0 (11 KO's) will also be in action against an opponent yet to be determined. Rounding out the exciting night of boxing will be a phenomenal heavyweight battle between Tunica's own and Beale Street favorite Ray Lunsford 18-5-1 (7 KO's). Lunsford will battle undefeated heavyweight prospect Alonzo Butler 19-0-1 (15 KO's) from Knoxville, TN. Mexican sensation Jose "Pepe" Rubio 1-0 (1 KO) from Tunica, MS will be in action as well. The card will feature a total of 7 bouts. Tickets at the FedEx Forum are very reasonable and start at $25.00.
