Press Release: Johnnie Edwards, 12-1-1 with 7 KOs, will now fight former two-time WBA featherweight champion Fred Norwood in a ten-round junior lightweight main event at the Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights, Washington. Shamir Reyes, who was originally scheduled to fight Norwood, was injured in training and withdrew from the bout. Two undefeated Russians will also be featured on the September 16th card in separate bouts. 23 year-old junior welterweight Ruslan Provodnikov, 4-0 with 3 KOs, of Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, will fight in a four-round bout against an opponent to be announced.  21 year-old Maxim Vlasov, 8-0 with 1 KO, of Samara, Russia, will fight Sam Haynes of 5-2, in a six-round super middleweight bout.
