Frank Warren: Ramirez-Postol first, with Caterall to face winner

British junior welterweight Jack Catterall holds the mandatory contender's spot with the WBO but his accession has been held up a bit due to the recent unification clash between [former WBO champion] Maurice Hooker and WBC champion Jose Ramirez. Both the WBO and WBC belts are now with Ramirez, who has been issued with two [conflicting] mandatory orders, one from each sanctioning body. According to Caterall's promoter Frank Warren (pictured), it looks like the WBC challenge from Viktor Postol is likely to take place first but there is a signed agreement that Caterall is next in line and with a timeframe put in place. In the meantime, Warren says Catterall will take a stay-busy fight, possibly on the undercard of Ramirez-Postol in order to maximize interest in Catterall vs. the winner.
