Rising lightweight Floyd Schofield, just 20 years old, will face Jesus Valentin Leon  (23-1-2) on Saturday, April 22nd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Schofield-Leon is part of the undercard for the big Gervonta "Tank" Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight. Schofield (13-0) has been growing in the division and has shown quality in each of the fights he has had. The New Jersey native defeated Alberto Mercado (17-5-1) last January in Inglewood, California. Leon, a 23 year-old Mexican with good punching power will make his first ring appearance in the United States and wants to make himself known in the most important market for boxing. He arrives with a streak of three knockouts and has not lost a fight since 2018, so he presents himself as a tough opponent for the champion.
