Floyd Mayweather Jr: I wanted a competitive fight. Without my dad in his corner, it's not going to be a contest. He's going to be like a fish out of water now."

PBF expecting KO over Oscar!

GL: Tell us about it Floyd, I hear things were getting pretty heated between you and Oscar De La Hoya earlier today. I heard you got in his face and you've been stalking him around Miami. What can you tell us about that? "Oscar's a punk. He's scared of me and I'm really going to beat him down now because he didn't want to give my daddy that money. I'm beefing with him because he didn't give my daddy that money so now me and him got a problem."

GL: Why are you mad at that? Is is because you've always wanted to match your fighting skills against daddy's training skills?

Floyd Mayweather: "Absolutely, I always wanted to go against his training skills. It would have been great to beat Oscar with my daddy in his corner."

GL: How do you feel about Oscar hiring Freddie Roach?

PBF: "It's not going to make a difference, because at the end of the day he's not winning anyway. But without my daddy in his corner his chances just got slimmer."

GL: Will May 5 still be your last fight?

PBF: (Not very convincingly) "Umm, Yeah. But you know like I said before, I want to try helping fighters. I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish in the sport. After I beat Oscar all I want you to do is tell me which fighter was able to capture WBC titles at 130, 135, 140, 147 and 154?

GL: Flashy and Flamboyant Floyd Mayweather Jr.

PBF: "That's right."

GL: Tell us about Floyd, my phone is ringing and I hear you're borderline stalking Oscar and getting in his face. What does this stem from?

PBF: "I told you, I'm mad that he didn't pick my daddy as a trainer. I wanted a competitive fight. Without my dad in his corner, it's not going to be a contest. He's going to be like a fish out of water now."

GL: So you definitely think he should have paid you father the $2M he was asking for?

PBF: "Yeah, but Oscar De La Hoya is the cheapest promoter in boxing."

GL: Is it fair for you to say that when you about to make your career high payday against him?

PBF: "Hey, I could say what I want to say. I'm entitled to that."

GL: Is Oscar going the distance on May 5?

PBF: "Hell no. Does a bear shit in the woods and wipe his ass with a furry white rabbit?"

GL: This fight has been called the Super Bowl of boxing, it's the biggest fight of 2007...

PBF: (cutting in) "Mayweather-De La Hoya is the biggest sporting event ever."

GL: With that being said how important is it for the business of boxing that this event lives up to the hype?

PBF: "You got to realize that this is going to be a battle. Boxing is an art and I'm going to paint a nice picture with Oscar all over the canvas."

GL: Boxing is an art, but you've previously stated that you're going to go toe to toe with Oscar. Is that still the case?

PBF: "Sometimes you got to do certain things for certain reasons. On May 5, I've got to stand toe to toe for a certain reason, and I'm not going to talk about that reason, I'm just going to show it on May 5."

GL: If you defeat Oscar how can his fans become your fans if you're going to retire afterwards?

PBF: "Right now I'm not even thinking about after May 5, I'm thinking about doing some partying out here and watching the Super Bowl on Sunday. I'll see you in Vegas next week."

GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?

PBF: "I want to thank all of my fans for their support, May 5 is the biggest sporting event ever. If you don't got your ticket make sure you're one of the millions who will watch this fight on PPV. Boxingtalk.com is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, Pretty Boy Floyd and I'm out."
