"I don't look for the KO, it just comes naturally."

Press release: At 17-0 with 12 KO's, Flores is eyeing his 3rd consecutive knockout in his 3rd consecutive fight at the cruiserweight limit.  The newly arrived hard hitting cruiserweight will be stepping into the ring Friday night against another heavy handed 200 pound fighter in Chris Thomas.   With 14 of his 16 wins coming by way of knock out, Thomas will be the biggest test Flores has faced thus far at the 200lb limit.                  

This Friday night, in Olive Branch MI, Flores will take one step further in his pursuit of a cruiserweight championship.   "My weight is down, everything is great.   My conditioning, my sparring, are and have been great.  I really want to make a statement this time out.   I know he's a tough guy but I am ready to show the world what I can do."

Speaking on whether Thomas will be his toughest test at cruiserweight, "We're gonna find out.  We'll see if Chris Thomas can take me the full 12.   I don't looking for the knock out, it just comes naturally.  I wasn't looking for the knock out in my last two fights, but it just happened."     

Flores continued, "I'm going to go to the body, use my defense, and set my punches up off of my jab.  I'm going to be looking to make a very big statement.   And when I get ranked after this fight, people will know I belong there.  It's very important to me that I look good and win in spectacular fashion, by KO or decision"

If Flores comes out of the Thomas fight with his 3rd consecutive win and 3rd consecutive knock out at the cruiserweight limit, it would be unparalleled for the boxing world not to take notice.   Ranked is actually what Team Flores is aiming for.  "The main thing is that I want to get ranked in the top 15 by all 4 sanctioning bodies so I can take my shot at the title."   With an impressive win over Thomas, the sanctioning bodies will have no choice to rank the undefeated phenom.  From 2 two time amateur champion, to 18-0 with the best jab in boxing, Flores is poised and ready for boxing stardom.     

BJ wanted to make one last statement about recently losing his brother in law.  "My brother in law was a big supporter of my boxing career and I want to dedicate this fight to him.  I am going to use that memory to bring the dog out of me on Friday night.
