Fight announced between Koki Kameda and Tenshin Nasukawa

According to the Asian Boxing website, a major Japanese fighting event has been booked for June 22nd, but it remains to be seen whether this wil be a legitimate fight or a media circus. Three-division champion Koki Kameda is going to fight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, the guy who was destroyed in a boxing exhibition by Floyd Mayweather. The rules of combat will be announced soon, and that will clarify how serious of a fight this is going to be. Kameda was 33-2 in his career and won WBA titles at 108, 112 and 118 pounds. The problem is, he has not fought since a 2015 loss to Kohei Kono. Though he looked terrible vs. Mayweather, the 20 year-old Nashukawa is an undeniable kickboxing superstar, undefeated in about thirty bouts. Asian Boxing reported the announcement came at the end of a television show in which Nasukawa defeated two opponents in kickboxing fights, one of them being former WBA 115-pound boxing champion Tepparith Kokietgym.
